Alex grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio in a very active family, playing all sorts of sports from a young age including volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer️, swimming, and was even on a traveling jump rope team. Out of all the sports though, volleyball has always been her passion. After playing volleyball and basketball at Kings High School, Alex went on to play collegiate volleyball at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia and Saint Ambrose University in Iowa. She also began playing sand volleyball in high school, played throughout college at SCAD, and has participated in the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) qualifiers and the National Volleyball League (NVL).
Alex started her higher education path in Graphic Design, however, after years of attending physical therapy for her own injuries, she made a pivot in her plans and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Mount St. Joseph University. She is passionate about helping individuals get back on the court, field, or to wherever their passions lie.
When Alex is not at work, you can find her backpacking and hiking the great outdoors, weight lifting, or out on the sand or court playing volleyball.
