Doug was born and raised in Wapakoneta, Ohio where from a very young age he had a passion for sports. While in high school, Doug was a varsity athlete in both basketball and football. After high school he continued to follow his passion for sports and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Toledo. This time provided countless, invaluable, on-field experiences in athletics at the Division I level. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Doug decided to take his ability to treat and prevent injuries to the next level, which led to him to the University of Cincinnati where he completed their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
From his experiences as an athlete, Athletic Trainer, and Physical Therapist, Doug was a perfect fit at Mobility Fit with his ability to provide Sports Performance-based rehabilitation. Doug has a passion for helping clients reach their goals and return to their regular activities stronger than before!
Currently Doug resides in the Dayton area with his wife and their two Labrador Retrievers. When he is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, exploring local restaurants and breweries, and traveling with his wife.
