Shannon is a Centerville native, graduating from Centerville High School in 2015. Shannon has always been drawn to athletics, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track and field in high school. She then went on to play collegiate basketball at Stanford University where she majored in Human Biology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent development. After four years in the Bay Area, Shannon went to play professional basketball in Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Mexico, and Kuwait. Shannon started out and continues to be a patient here at Mobility Fit in order to get her back and healthy to return to play overseas.

She has always been drawn to physical activity and the science behind it all. Using her time at Stanford to learn more about the human body only increased her passion for movement, recovery, and prevention from injury in her own life and others’. Shannon was involved in facilitating a research study studying the impact of hits and collisions in sport and its relationship to concussions in order to help gain more insight on a topic that lacks research.

In her new found free time outside of basketball, Shannon enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, coaching 3 and 4 year old soccer, and participating in the Master’s swim team at the Washington Township Rec Center.
