Kayle Smith, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Kayle was born and raised in Piqua, OH, where she grew up playing volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field. She attended Otterbein University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Allied Health. While at Otterbein, she played on the inaugural women’s lacrosse team. After graduating, she then attended Ohio University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017.
Since graduating, she has worked in outpatient orthopedics. She enjoys treating athletes of all types, especially lacrosse and volleyball athletes. In addition to athletes, she is passionate about helping all of her patients return to healthy and active lifestyles. After rupturing her own Achilles tendon, she now finds great satisfaction in helping her patients modify their workouts after surgeries/injuries, in order to keep them as active as possible throughout the entire duration of their rehab process.
In her free time, she trains in CrossFit and weightlifting. She also loves baking and adding new houseplants to her growing collection. She and her husband Cody have one fur baby, a dachshund mix named Apollo. Together, she and Cody enjoy working out, trying new restaurants, and watching sports.
