Samantha Simms, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Samantha was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky where she grew up playing a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, field hockey and track. In high school she found her passion for distance running when she began running cross country. She then went on to run Division I Cross Country and Track for the University of Cincinnati and earned a Bachelors in Exercise and Movement Science. It was during her time as a Bearcat when she sustained a few injuries that led her to discover Physical Therapy.
Following graduation, Samantha went on to further her education at Georgia Southern University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2022. During her time in PT school she conducted research in the Biodynamics and Human Performance Center on ACL return to sport testing. Prior to joining the team at Mobility Fit, Samatha worked in an out-patient orthopedic clinic working with local high school athletes and post op patients of all ages. She is passionate about helping people at all stages of life meet their goals.
Outside of the clinic Samantha can be found running around Cincinnati as she continues to train for marathons. Samantha currently resides in Cincinnati and enjoys taking her dogs on hikes, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
