Tess Underlieder, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Tess, a fellow Dayton native, grew up in Springboro, Ohio where her passion for volleyball began in high school and continued at the University of Scranton where she played Division III volleyball. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition, Tess returned to Ohio to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 2024. During her studies, Tess remained actively involved in athletics with coaching at a volleyball local club in Mason and working with The Bridge, a program focused on adaptive sports. These experiences have enriched her understanding of diverse populations and the impactful role physical therapy can play. Joining the Mobility Fit way, Tess is dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of function and performance through personalized care. Her approach is grounded in her extensive knowledge and passion for supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and beyond.
Outside of the clinic, Tess enjoys spending time in volleyball gyms coaching and mentoring young athletes. She also loves exploring downtown Dayton and Cincinnati, discovering local breweries, and cheering on the Reds, Bengals, and Ohio State Buckeyes. When she’s at home, Tess is often found with her three beloved cats—Goose, Mazie, and Polo—whom she affectionately considers her children.
